Pontevedra has the perfect dimensions to visit and enjoy it. It has an excellent historical centre. Some of its monuments are the biggest and the best conserved in Galicia. Public spaces can be enjoyed due to the planning and construction of pedestrian streets. Also, the city splendour is trying to be recovered so an intense urban work is being developed. On the other hand, the city is located within a scenery of beautiful landscapes, rivers and estuaries unique in the world. Moreover, Pontevedra is proud of its cultural and natural heritage.
