For many, the UAE is all about the expat lifestyle. The sun, the sea and the tax-free living. In fact more than 80 percent of the country's population is made up of expats. But with rising inflation, soaring rents and the growing cost of living, the dream destination could be starting to lose its appeal. Expats are leaving in greater numbers than ever before - and as Ben Thompson now reports, that means employers are finding it increasingly difficult to hang on to their best staff.
