Hi all, I'm visiting Prague in a couple of weeks and haven't been for a while. Could someone let me know what the deal is with currncy over there. Are you still on the CZK or is the EUR used more now. I'll be arriving at the airport and needing to get a taxi so obviously need to change my money before I get there.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
Thankyou
Darren

I'm guessing this is a bit late, but yes, the currency of the Czech Republic is the koruna (crown), plural koruny. The currency code CZK is often used internationally, but the local symbol is KÄ (for Koruna ÄÂeská). 1 koruna is made up of 100 haléř, abbreviated to hal.. The exchange rate is approximately 30KÄ = €1, or 25KÄ = $1 (US).
Hope that helps the next person who isn't sure!
