1986 FORD CAMPER VAN FOR SALE

Converted Ford Econoline 250 with 5-litre V8 engine and extra high top for sale. This 20 foot Class B motorhome / RV sleeps 2 in two single or one double bed. Perfect for overland travel in North, Central and South America: two gas tanks, high clearance, air conditioning, two house batteries for living area appliances, 40-litre water tank, plenty of storage, extra security features, mosquito nets on 5 windows.

Living area features: 2 way fridge (propane and electric), propane stove, microwave, sink, electric and hand operated water pump, forced air heating (propane), port-a-potty, extractor fan, outdoor awning.

Security features: immobilizer switch, steering wheel lock, wheel locks on all tires including spare.

Mechanical: van has 255,000 original km with only 50,000 km on a new engine. We have owned for 9 months (bought in Canada for our drive from Vancouver to Panama). Previous owner a mechanic who took excellent care of the vehicle for many years with new king pins, new EGR system, new exhaust, rebuilt AOD overdrive transmission, rebuilt driveline, positraction rearend. We have installed a new thermostat (no problems with hot weather driving) and 2 new tires, and overhauled the suspension.

Van also comes fully furnished. Includes everything for cooking (pots, pans, plates, glasses, cutlery, etc), sleeping (pillows, sheets, duvet, etc) and life on the road (battery operated fan, converter for charging camera, phone, laptop while driving, etc). Plus all the tools you'll need, and spares including belts, filters and fluids. The van is completely ready for your adventure - right down to deck chairs, a beach umbrella and a new four person tent for guests.
