Moving to Cape Town
Moving to Cape Town
Posted: Fri Mar 14, 2008 6:21 pm
Hi
I hope someone out there can help - we have made the big decision to move to Cape Town, my parents have been there for a few years and after so many visits we think we are ready to make the move.
We have 3 children who will be going to school out there and are looking for a B&B to run. Can anyone tell me if we have to buy an existing registered B&B or are we able to purchase and change the use of the building?
Really appreciate some advice on this.
Thanks
Teresa

You can easily purchase a building and change the use of it. Where are you looking to buy?

Hi
We are looking to buy in Hout Bay or Constantia. Do you know of anywhere at a reasonable price?
Regards

In terms of tourism Hout Bay would no doubt be better than Constantia, In terms of value and tourism potential areas like Blouberg, Noordhoek and Simons Town are also worth considering - they are far more reasonable and are becoming more popular.
