I am preparing to move to Madaba (actually to the King's Academy campus) and would like to bring two motorcycles that I am restoring with me to work on there. I have heard conflicting things about whether it is even possible to bring motorcycles into the country. Can anyone shed some light on this question for me?

Hi Mark,

There are very few Motorcycles in Jordan and importing them would be very expensive. If you give me few days I shall investigate for you. it would be help if you can tell me more about the Bikes...the make, model, year etc.

Hi Mark,

Initial findings are that it is not allowed to import a motorcycle unless you are a company who is importing for a business purpose. I do need further information about the Motorcycle to find out more from Driver and Vehicle Licence Department of Jordan.
I have only seen mopeds/scooters here and not seen any Motorcycles but not to say this becomes the rule.
