hi chris.
the lloyds off shore a/c is very easy to set up, and most big high street banks give this service. off shore shound posh but its not its either in the isle of man or jersey. they do how ever charge £7.50 a month. but the interest is slightly higher than the high street. also you can transfer money into it via the internet from any a/c in the uk. but to transfer money abroad you have to phone them but they are open out of hours and once they have your details it only takes a couple of mins.
moneycorp i have not used yet as only recently set up a/c and at the moment i am not to happy with the rate they offer. on the internet you can check the exchange rate but when i rang them they were offering 10 forints to the £ less than on the internet.
o forgot to mention because on the transfer of money the off shore takes out their charges and the hungarian bank charges which can go up or down. thats why we only transfer money when we have to.
yes we did have rain here yesterday but believe it or not we still not putting the heating on till middle of afternoon.
