Yes it is me

A little background

I grew up in Nottinghamshire, UK and at the age of 22 decided to seek my fortune in the USA living in states New York, Alabama and Georgia. I worked as a Business Development Director within the Telecommunications Industry but also was involved with a number of Property Developments.

After 10 years, I decided to return to Blighty living in Nottinghamshire, South Wales and Bedfordshire and continued my role in Business Development at Director level and as a Business Consultant, travelling extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East.

With Western Europe clearly heading for more difficult times, I believed the best investments would be in the emerging markets of Eastern Europe. I had been well acquainted with Romania for 12+ years and had many professional contacts; in addition, the UK BBC television put Romania at the top of their list for investment.

With this in hand, I established the company British RO Investments Srl to bridge the gap for foreign investors and business persons in Romania.
British RO Investments Srl is a Business Consultancy, specialising in assisting Foreign and Romanian companies and individuals, address the complex but profitable Romanian and other European markets.

Hi,
I've enjoyed reading the posts on here and have joined the forum to throw in my tuppence worth. I am in Iasi and finding life here to be interesting- a little frustrating at times but have learned to shrug my shoulders dramatically like a local and ask the question 'Dar ce mai vrei?'

Hi my name is Chris and it looks like I could be offered a position in Romania very soon (waiting on the T's & C's etc). I work for BAT and we have a factory in Ploiesti although I am considering locating in Bucharest>

Hello....have "survived" here since 1996 and there is not ONE day I don't have a fit of laughter...Human Stupidity inspires me, normal, am a Psychologist ! Romania is the 5th country I have been living in (CH,D,UK,F) and wished for some SPICE in my life..I've got more than I wished for ! LOL
Anyway, just a little thought for you all: The Romainian is dressing like an European (forget about the Women.......Yucky and lack of good taste, sorry !), he is Talking like an European, is APPARENTLY acting like an European (when it comes to Business and Money-Money-Money) BUT....he is thinking like an........ORIENTAL ! And, that's exactely what beats US !
