Hi my name is Khadijah. My husband and I (Both Americans) moved to Egypt 4 months ago. We are currently living in 6th of October. We came here because we weren't having any luck finding jobs in the US. I am a teacher and found a job with a TV station in Media Production City.

We love to explore and walk around our new environment. I was a history major (which obviously attributed to our coming here). We love meeting new people and going out for tea

My name is Rick. I am American. I took a job with a company in New Maadi in August. Currently I work one month in Egypt and then return to Houston and work out of my home for a month. So, I go back and forth.

In July my wife and I plan to move to Cairo, Inshalla. I have found the people of Egypt to be incredibly gracious and kind..........................until they get behind the wheel of a car that is. :c)

So far I like Cairo and look forward to moving here, although I will miss my kids and grandchild. That will be really hard.

Hi I am an American expat who just relocated to Egypt 2 weeks ago. I have a big problem and hope if anyone here can help. Our container came in and unfortunately the place we have rented is much smaller than we were shown in pictures and videos before we arrived here in Egypt. Now I am full of items that I will not be able to fit in our new home they are all brand new items including furniture, baby items all kind, like baby cots, high chairs, sterelizers, toys, etc.. I have donated most of them but I still have so many extra things and would like some advice on which will be the best way to sell them not at the price I paid back in the states of course but for some reasonable price. I would really appreciate your input on this as my house is literally full of boxes and I cant settle in until I have cleared these extra boxes out. Thanking you in advance.  

What area are you in Lili? If you are near Maadi, then I believe that the CSA organises some kind of sales of expat goods.
Actually I know some people just doing something to do with babies so if you want to make a list and PM me, then I can pass it on to them.
