My name is Jenna, and I'm an American designer who will be relocating to Egypt with my partner, who is a photographer, late this year or perhaps very early 2012. We are very interested in finding out more about the area, what the job market looks like for designers and photographers, and what everyone likes to do, especially in regards to art, galleries, and museums.

I'm an artist as well, working in printmaking and multimedia, and my partner and I often collaborate on work with audio, photography, and print.

re the market here in Egypt ( form a point of view of a person in the filed - I work in marketing ) I can say that it is a very competitive ..creativity and priceare the main criteraia ...

but in any case , why dont u test waters ..why dont u start contacting companies ..offering ur work...your filed doesnt require a real direct contact with the client as long as having the detailed brief...

this will give u an idea

as for photography there's very good demand for photography courses ..check the face book and see how it could be profitable ...if any other info , plz dont hesitate to ask
