Hi everyone, we are new to the forum so let me introduce our family. I am from the US, my husband from England, our daughters are Chinese and we've currently been on assignment in Mexico for the past 6 years. We're excited about our move to Mumbai; my husband will be working in Taloja.

Do you have any suggestions on schools for our daughters who are 7 and 11? We are open to most types of schools - American, British, Indian - that are good and would love if any teach Spanish. Also, if you can suggest areas where we might live, that would be a huge help.

If I am not mistaken, Taloja is close to Panvel.

Hence you might have to live in a place on the outskirts of Mumbai, perhaps in New Bombay (or Navi Mumbai as it is locally called). Kharghar, a suburb of New Bombay should be best suited to your needs.

On the education front, Delhi Public School in Seawoods, Nerul (Abt 8 kms away from Kharghar - www.dpsnavimumbai.org/) is the best one around. Not sure as to whether they teach Spanish.
There are other schools too - www.indiaparenting.com..._nurseries

In my opinion, Fr. Agnel, DAV and Apeejay have good pedigree in that order. Avoid Ryan International.

You could google - international school navi mumbai - for some relevant results.
