Hi my name is Kelly and I'm 34. I live in Glasgow with my partner Billy and 2 young kids. After several months of waiting, we've finally had confirmation of a job and relocation to Sydney (woohoo). We are both very excited and nervous Very Happy I'd appreciate any advice regarding the move and also any suggestions on where to live? Billy's going to be based all over but his main base is in Paramatta. I'd really like somewhere safe and child friendly. Thanks xx

My name is Melissa Betancourt and I currently reside in Kenosha, WI United States with my husband and two children. My husband currently serves in the US Navy and will be retiring in 4 years. I am currently working on my 2nd graduate degree and work in Public Relations and Administrative Affairs as an Ombudsman. Our daughter is 10 and our son is 5.

Upon his retirement, we plan to move to Australia. We are currently working with a migration specialist to assist with visa's and so forth. We are eagerly researching as much data as we can to prepare ourselves for the differences in culture. All of us are looking forward to this reality.

We are very open minded and receptive to any and all advice or feedback from others, if they choose to share.

Respectfully,
Melissa

Hi everybody, my name is Stephen, and my wife's name is Aileen, at the moment we live just outside Norwich, Norfolk, England. We now have a visa to move to Busselton, just south of Perth, to be with our daughter, son in law and 2 grandsons, this is life changing, we have just given the Australian Goverment £43.500 as part of our Contributary Parent visa, as well as giving our daughter £9,500 as our Assurence of Support, but it will all be worthwile to be with our family, although we are leaving another daughter and 2 grandsons behind, they may join us in a couple of years. It was a long 18 month process, so if anyone would like any help or advice, please do not hesitate to ask

Hi everyone, we are Mia and René Andersen from Denmark, but currently living in Bournemouth England, where Mia is taking a Chiropractor Master degree. Rene is an Electrician and work with windturbines in Sweden, so we are quite international at the moment Smile
We are just about to launch our immigration application, starting out with state sponsorship of Western Australia. We are hoping to get the application approved fast, but know it takes time.
Look forward to do the move!!!!
XX Mia and René
