Hi, I'm so happy to find all of you.
I'm especially hoping to connect with people who are knowledgable about getting Greek citizenship.
I'm in the process. My father and my mother's parents were born in Greece. I've collected almost of the documentation I need and lots that isn't required, but supports the fact that my father was born in greece (Ellis Island copy of the ship manifest from 1920, his naturalization doc from the 1930's). But because he was never sure of his precise birth date, I have'n't been able to obtain his birth certificate. Of course, his place of birth is noted on my birth certificate.
I look forward to reading as many of your posts as I can and contributing where I can.
With warmest regards to all,
18Hellene19 in New York

Thanks for responding, Carole.
I'm in New York. My parents passed away years ago. I grew up bi-lingual (dimotiki) and have always felt as Greek as I have American.
