Please Introduce Yourself Here

Post Posted: Mon Jan 04, 2010 10:07 pm

Hi

Welcome to the forum! We are a friendly and supportive community who
enjoy sharing information or just debating a wide range of topics. If
you'd like to introduce yourself please do so below - you'll be made
very welcome

PS Not sure what to say? How about...

- Where you're from
- Where you are now (if you've already moved abroad)
- Why you moved abroad or why you're planning to move
- Your interests and hobbies

Kind Regards
Carole

I read the best book I have ever read about Saudi Arabia. It is called "Paramedic to the Prince" written by an American paramedic who spent over ten years in the Kingdom. Including being on the medical staff of King Abdullah

It is recommended not only by Sandy Mitchell Author (Saudi Babylon) but also Jean Sasson, author (Princess)

A real must read for any expat or anyone interested in the Middle East.

It is on Amazon and there is a web-site www.paramedictotheprince.com

Check it out a real cant put down kind of book. Not your normal expat bashing book but an honest and keen insight in Saudi Arabia

PS I look forward to reading the book Wink

Hi...

My name is Tom... I am from Coventry in the UK! I am coming out to work as a Paramedic for SRCA in Riyadh on the 22nd February, for 12 months.

This will be my first time in Saudi and I am travelling alone... Be good to contact some of you out there and meet up.

I have decided to move abroad... for the adventure, the new culture, the challemge and the sun of course!

Regards

Tom
