Hi Dandee,

Welcome to Expat Focus.

Have you contacted any of the banks in SA.

I came across these links where the banks offered online banking.

Please view details for First National bank please view here...

and ABSA bank

here...

Please let me know if the links were of help.

Kind regards
Carole

Hi Carole
Thanks for the advice. I have applied to FNB online so I will wait and see what happens. I banked with them when we lived there so I might be lucky. I will let you know the outcome.
Many thanks
Dandee

Hi

I'd suggest that you contact the different banks

I have been living in the UK for 20years and I need to open a South African bànk account from here in order to claim my inheritance left by my late father which I am then hoping to transfer into my UK bank account without leaving the country I used to bank with Standard Bank in SA before I left in 1996

Any help would be greatly appreciated please

I have had a look on the Absa and FNB websites as suggested by Carole but I'm not sure what I need to look for as I'm not familiar with the banking terminologies

Many thanks
