The English School has small class sizes and a good range of extra curricular activities. Try googling their name for the website. However, they only take kids up to age 14.

Hi All
I am possibly/ proberly moving to kuwait soon and was wondering which schools are recommended for a 8 and 14 yr old, i have no idea where i will be staying yet and the final salary offer still needs to take place, i will be visiting to assess everything in middle of Feb.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
ps: also what you think is a confortable wage for a family of 4, with kids in a private school , car etc.
thanks

Dizzy: I mean The English School, Salmiya (TES).
As far as ESF goes, it depends whether you're a teacher or a parent. It's ok but mostly Arab so, if you want Western kids or English spoken in the playground, try elsewhere.
I would recommend Kuwait English School (KES) for all round standards. TES for small class sizes and English atmosphere.
guy4245: depends on the job. School fees must be paid for or you'll be broke. What's your job? Experienced teachers are on around 1000-1200KD pcm (few benefits though) so relate that to what your job would pay compared to teachers.
