Hello Everyone. I am Trevor from Australia. I haven't been living in Australia for a long time though as i have been working all over the world as a Chef. I am currently in China with my Filipina wife but we are looking to move back to the Philippines very soon as i would like to operate a restaurant business there. Currently in China i am working as a Chef Consultant here in China training Chinese Chefs with western food. I am a avid rugby fan and also love watching the Premier League Football. When living in England i always watched Manchester City play. My family are Irish and Scottish decent. I hope in the Philippines i can become very successful with my cuisine that i do as all restaurants i have so far run and been Executive Chef have all made a profit. Anyway good to talk to anyone who would like to chat anytime soon.

Regards
Trevor

Hey, i found this forum on google after doing some research. I am moving to the phillipines in Jan 2010.
I am going to be launching a call centre in manilla or cebu for my ppi company.
As i'm going to be coming out alone to start with i would be very interested in chatting to any expats or locals out there right now and possibly even meet up when i get out there so we can share experiences. I am also going to be looking for people to work for my company so if anyone is interested please also get in contact.
So to sumarise if your a local or expat i would be very interested in talking to you!

Cheers guys

P.s Best form of contact is probably my facebook - www.facebook.com/ashleythorne

Hello everyone. My name is Howard, and I currently reside in Banawa. I moved here in November of last year. After seven months in a hotel, I found a wonderful new home here. Before I retired as an engineer in Las Vegas, NV, USA, I did a lot of research on living here. I also talked to several Philipinos I worked with to get their take on me moving here. They were all wonderful, full of good advice and convinced me to do it.

I now have a great life partner who lives with me. I think that I found one of the "good" ones here. I can't think of a better place to live than here. I have been accepted by my neighbors, and have formed many new friendships. I have had the pleasure of meeting expats from several other countries, and they all love it here. I am looking foward to a long and peaceful life in this paradise called Cebu.
