ESL in Norway

Post Posted: Sat Sep 11, 2010 12:09 pm

Hi,

I am a British guy living in Hong Kong with my wife and two kids. I am currently teaching English in local kindergartens.

We are basically sick of the congestion and smog here and would consider moving to Norway to give the kids the best chance in life. They are aged 1 and 2 and a half.

We have travelled in Scandanavia many times and love it, even the winters! We have spent winters in Denmark and Sweden. We can't speak Norwegian but can struggle along in Swedish, (really struggle!).

My question is, can I get work in Norway, teaching English? I am not a qualified teacher.

Any other ideas? Thanks in advance - Tony
