Is Canada the best place to live?

According to a study of over 1,000 expats carried out by NatWest International, Canada is the country which offers the best qualify of life for Britons abroad.

92 per cent of British expats in Canada surveyed by the bank praised their working environment as "very good” or "excellent”, while 90 per cent rated their financial security as meeting the same criteria.

Canada's health care system, educational standards and attractive natural environment were similarly rated highly by respondents

Canada is a great place to live if you like to be cold 80% of the time.

In my experience, as someone who's lived in Canada for several years now, while the winters are colder than those of the UK, the summers are far warmer. The winter may be longer than the UK, but 80% is an exaggeration. I would strongly suggest that there's a lot more than climate that makes Canada a great place in which to live.

As an American, if I had to do it over again, knowing what I know now, I think that I would have emigrated to Canada when I was younger.

It's a BIG country - so much so that each province has it's own weather. Here in BC we are in a rain forest so it rains for about seven months of the year...normally we have cool spring (none at all this year - just more rain) and short hot summers lasting two or three months if you are lucky.
Do your research on everything not just the weather!
