Slanina, LOL! Slanina is a peasant thing, is not something that ppl eat daily, at least I hope not! I've only eaten Burta in Ciorba (Ciorba de burta) a couple of times myself. Because it takes ages and ages to prepare and cook it, it's not something women like to do much. You will find it in restaurants and pubs (carciuma).
I think here is called Tripe? or something.
Never knew that we eat sheep head round there!!! Ew! LOL
