Are you looking to teach English when you get there?

There are bound to be lots of Teachers of English on the Island, ask at the local fontastirio (language school)
They`re every where...

But sorry don`t know any personnaly..

I have friends here (Australians) who do that with thier children, they have the books sent out from Australia and do it that way..
They say it`s hard work...

But some where on here I remember reading of a group of women who were starting their own web site for home tuition....

I don`t know if they actually started one or not. I`ll try to track it down, but it was more than 6 month ago...

You can always ask at the British consulate.

ZAKYNTHOS – British Honorary Vice Consulate
5 Foskolos Street
291 00 Zakynthos
Open to the public: Monday – Friday 08.00 – 13.00

Tel: 26950-22906, 48030, 45386
Fax: 26950-23769
zakynthos @ british-consulate.gr

They may have info on tuitors in your area....

And I`ll see if there is anything else on home tuitoring....

Just found this, it may point you in the right direction..?

www.home-ed.co.uk

And there may be more later, now I`m interested!

My son is 9yrs old and goes to a Greek school( he was born here)
I do some lessons with him in English and really should do more...
So it`s interesting to see what`s out there...

Let me know what you think..
