Method 1. Upload your own video to Expat Focus

Want to share your knowledge of life abroad? Why not create a short video (maximum file size 50MB*) which provides useful tips for someone moving to a foreign country and we'll add it to the Expat Focus YouTube channel and our own video collection. Videos added to these pages are viewable both at YouTube and at Expat Focus!

Videos can be as simple as someone sitting in front of a camera and talking or they can be as creative as you like (e.g. including photos or clips of the subject matter under discussion). We're not looking for professional standards here by any means - you can even make a quick movie using your mobile phone - the important thing is that the content is useful to other expats.

Please note that videos must comply with YouTube's community guidelines and that all uploaded videos will be checked prior to publishing. By sending us your video you grant us permission to upload it to the Expat Focus YouTube channel and annotate it with a link back to ExpatFocus.com

* Tip: if you need to reduce the size of a .mov file try MP4Cam2AVI Easy Converter, a freely available open-source tool (to use, enable Expert mode under the Settings menu then change the video format to the desired quality, e.g normal/average/low).

Method 2. Tell us about an expat video already online somewhere else

If you know of a video already hosted online somewhere else which expats might find useful please tell us about it using this short form and we'll review it for inclusion in our video collection.

With this option you don't need to own or upload the video yourself, you're just notifying us about it so we can make it available to other visitors here at Expat Focus.
