To subscribe to a mobile phone, you can visit any of the service centres of Etisalat in the city and apply for a SIM card. The number gets activated within an hour. Payphone facilities have been installed at several locations throughout Abu Dhabi

Etisalat provides free wireless internet service at Heritage Park and Formal Park along the Corniche and the surrounding neighbourhood.

Emirates Post is the national postal service in Abu Dhabi. The Abu Dhabi Central Post Office functions from 8.00 AM to 10:00 PM, and can be contacted as follows:
