The UKCA was created initially to meet many of the needs of UK expatriates living full or part time on the island, as well as those UK citizens visiting the island on holiday. At its heart today, the UKCA is a social venue where residents of the island can come to meet new friends, wine and dine at very reasonable prices, join a wide variety of social activities, be entertained by musicians and magicians or supported via a wide variety of welfare services. Add to this list the largest English language library in Paphos, a completely rebuilt clubhouse and a varied programme of travel and excursions and you will see why 1200+ members enjoy the UKCA being part of their way of life in Cyprus.

Bowls Cyprus is made up of four active clubs. Aliathon Bowls Club is based at the Aliathon holiday complex which is on the eastern tourist strip of Paphos. Close by is the Avanti Hotel Bowls club which is situated in the grounds of the Louis Phaethon hotel. Coral Bay Bowls Club is where it says - in Coral Bay about 10 kilometers north of Paphos on the western coast of Cyprus. Finally, the Aphrodite Bowls Club is based in the Aphrodite holiday complex at Erimi, about 10 kilometers west of the main port town of Limassol.
