Foreigners may be entitled to social security benefits from the Estonian government, depending on their work history in the country and their contribution as tax payers.

American Citizens residing in Estonia may receive their Social Security Benefits there.
US Treasury Checks are typically sent to the US Embassy in Tallinn.
Social security recipients should inform the Consular Section of the US Embassy whether they prefer to collect the checks in person or have the forwarded via local mail. Recipients should also be aware that the fees charged by local banks are often substantial.
