Energy, electricity, gas and water can be applied at the one-stop place, the Luxembourg Energy Office (LEO). Their website at www.leoenergy.lu provides information and forms to download for requesting to open new accounts. There are also forms and guidelines on change of address, payment methods and so on. For general enquires, call their Customer Center hotline at 2639 4848, or walk in to their Customer Service Center at 9 Roosevelt Boulevard L-2450 (open Mondays through Fridays, 8am to 5pm), or email at info@leoenergy.lu. Do note that the electricity and gas sector have recently been liberalized in Luxembourg. To apply for a new utility account, you will need a copy of your residence permit and proof of residential address.

For new connections, you will need to contact the various offices for advice on the procedure. For new electricity services, call 4796 3288 or 4796 2871; email electricite@vdl.lu. For new water connection services, call 4796 2883. For new gas connection services, call 4796 2763.

Waste disposal is collected in pre-bought garbage bags that bear the inscription "City of Luxembourg – Bag – Garbage". Waste that is not placed in the proper bags may not be collected. The bags can be bought at many places.
