Signs, as well as most menus, tickets, and schedules are in Spanish. It would be handy to have a travel guide that will tell you some of the more frequently needed phrases.
There is an abundance of Spanish language schools where you can take private lessons, sit in classes with a larger group, or even experience immersion classes where you live with a local family and are literally "forced" to speak Spanish.
