Other city services and government agencies have similar job sites. Log on to the city's homepage to start your search for jobs in city government.

One place to go for help finding a job is the Small Business Services and Workforce1 - an agency dedicated to several aspects of life in New York, including matching employers with those looking for a job. The SBS offers a range of services, including career counseling and training for those in the job market. The Department for the Aging offers job services for seniors, including placement and training. For those with disabilities, the New York City Placement Consortium offers services to aid with job placement. Unions are good sources of information about job opportunities, and NYC is no exception. Local 2054 is the union for College Assistants, offering to fill special needs for students, including sign language interpretation. If you're a teacher or looking for a position in the education industry, you'll find job listings at many of the schools and colleges around the city.
