Qatar experiences very hot and humid summers between May and September. Winters are pleasantly mild and dry, while spring and autumn also usually bring pleasantly warm weather. The weather is sunny all year round.
Average daytime summer temperatures are between 38 degrees C and 42 degrees C, falling to around 18 degrees C at night. Daytime humidity sometimes reaches 95%. Average daytime winter temperatures are 34 degrees C, falling to an average of 10 degrees C at night.
There are sandstorms throughout the year and occasional rainstorms in December and January.
