Getting There

Saudi Arabia - Getting There

It is easy to reach Saudi Arabia by direct flight from the UK, US and many other countries. The national airline, Saudi Arabian Airlines, operates flights to many destinations throughout the world, while other national airlines fly into the country.

Saudi Arabia has three major international airports located near the main centres of population: King Khalid International Airport which is 35 kilometres from Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport which is 18 kilometres from Jeddah, and King Fahd International Airport which is 50 kilometres from Dammam.

Approximate flight times are 6 hours from London, between 13 and 16 hours from New York and between 18 and 21 hours from Los Angeles.

The country also has six commercial ports and two industrial ports.
