INTERNET
Internet access once upon a time in Vietnam was dismal, slow and expensive, but in recent years with the advent of microwave cable as well as the newly available DSL , Vietnam is heading toward the future showing real promise of high speed connections. Wi-fi is available at resports on Phu Quoc and the Internet age is finally dawning on the country in general. Internet cafes are everywhere and recently even private vacation rental homes are beginning to offer non dial up internet connections.
TELEVISION AND RADIO
Vietnam TV broadcasts three channels throughout the country; satellite channels such as CNN are available in most hotels catering to foreigners. Voice of Vietnam Radio broadcasts throughout the country; all provinces and cities have their own radio stations as well.
