Companies in Thailand are subject to the following taxes (as the case may apply):
Income tax: 30%
Special Business Tax: 3.3%
Service Tax: 3%
Value Added Tax: 7%
Miscellaneous tax
Additional taxes in place in Thailand include import tax and tax on the sale of houses and other assets (such as stocks). There is, however, currently no inheritance tax in Thailand.
Revenue Department
All taxation in Thailand is regulated and governed by the Revenue Department and any resident may be the subject of a tax audit at any given time.
