Greetings all,

i thought id drop by and give a few details of what i experianced today at the hospital getting my blood work and pysical examination done. ouch ouch lol i hate needles to say the least, a nice black mark on my arm and 3 bottles of blood sucked out.

I dont know if this would be of any help but when i ask here about getting a dna test done i was told that they didnt do such tests here. Im not sure what other tests are availble for british citasens in other countries, maybe in europe would be much easier as there are far better facilities. I asked to be tested for sickle cell anemia (to see if im a carrier) & also for HIV just to calm the nerves of egyptian authorities, the doctor also advised i get Hepititus (srry bad speeling,) and sexually transmitted disease test for syphilis( yeah again anothe bad spelling.lol dyslexia is annoying at time hehe.) so i got them all done plus a pysical, check to see how the blood pressure and eye sight is, plus the heart (make sure its ticking well enough) and the chest. Again i dont know if all these are needed from the egyptian government but i thought id get it done anyhows to be on the safe side incase they ask when im there.

Be sure to get a "marriage medical certificate." when u get ur results as it may be asked for. i was advised by a local friend from the land im in that i should get it to be again on the safe side just incase im asked.

Something else i learnt is that make sure the hospital stamps are on ur results to show that its authentic. Here in middle east for small things like gettign visa and passport renewed they always check for stamps from government offices and if u dont have them it may take a day or 2 running around to get them sorted before u can continue futher.

I dont know what egypts rules are but i just thought its best to share the above things with u all, not to annoy or scare anyone but to be of help.

have urselfs a good day/evening.
Very Happy
