EU citizen and Non Eu wanna move to holland or belgium

good day to all,

im a filipino who is married to a dutch man. we would like to inquire around if someone know or has the same situation we have. i was living with my husband here in philippines for 3yrs. things didnt work. sadly holland has become strict. my husband is not working. he is actually receiving WAO. he just had his mdeical check up last june this year. now we are waiting for the result if he can still get money or not. thats our problem since applying for MVV you need to comply to their income requirement. my husband is only receiving 1100 euro a month. now, we thought maybe if he move to belgium and we try to get me a visa to belgium would be easier than in holland. we are suddenly separated now becoz of this situation. we are so desperate and frustrated being away from each other. our son who is 17months old keeps looking for him and its crushing me. is anyone knows or have any idea what best to do? please... i badly need help!!! im really begging...

Dear Jo,

Did you ever manage to sort this out? From just looking at the situation it seems strange that your husband even though he is a Dutch citizen is not allowed into Holland. Giving his medical condition, then it maybe unlikely that he will be able to simply "settle" in Belgium. If you require a Visa to come to Belgium then the same preliminary checks will be carried out here, so I would believe the chances would be better in Holland.
