Hi all,

I am non EU citizen and we plan to get married with my Dutch boyfriend.
I have a doughter from my previous relationship.Acording to the lows in my country both her father and me -we share custody over the child.
IND wants that i have costody papers over the child.I do not have them. Her father is agree to sign a ligal document, that he is agree child to live with me in NL with my new husband.Does anybody knows if such document can replace relevent custody papers?
Thanks in advance for your answers!

I know when I moved to Belgium with my daughter that I was told that I would have to have written permission from her father so she could stay in this country (Im sure the same would apply in the NL) I think a written document from her father would be enough but if I was in your shoes I'd seek legal advice possibly in the NL (maybe your boyfriend could enquire?)
