Moving to Denver from the UK on an H1-B visa in October ; single flights cost £300 more than returns, so if I book a return but only use the outward portion of my tickets, will I get in trouble from US immigration upon landing in the US? or will I have trouble filling out the green form?

I know ailines don't like people doing this, as they don't get so much of our hard-earned cash ! I don't care about them, it's the US authorities I am worried about.

On an H1-B visa, will I be filling in that green form that they give you onboard the plane? or is that only for visa-waiver folk ?

many thanks for any info from you knowledgeable folk out there !

If you have a visa in your passport for a longer stay you won't be filling out the visa waiver form on the plane.

I doubt the return flight ticket will be an issue, but you might want a print out of the difference in price just to back up your reason with the CBP officer.
