Hi,
I am looking for a rental in Amsterdam, couple of websites i looked at, like www.aroundthehouse.eu and www.directwonen.nl, but the all are very expensive.
My budget is 1000 euro, ideally furnished.

Try www.duwo.nl/eCache/DEF/6/638.html (DUWO) for rental accomodation in Amsterdam.
Alternatively contact ACCESS, www.access-nl.org or helpdesk-dh @ access-nl.org , a non profit organisation that provides free information and advice for your life in the Netherlands. They might be able to provice you usefull adresses of rental agencies in Amsterdam.
