Hotel work, anyone hiring?

Hi,

Does any know hotel's in the Vancouver area that will hire foreign workers, Front Desk/Gust Services positions??

With the very large number of Canadians who are not working, such low skill jobs are being filled easilly by local people. There is no chance of foreign workers being hired for that type of job now.

In order to be able to get a temp work permit, a person has to have technical skills that are in demand in Canada, or a University degree in a field that is in demand here. Sorry.

Yeah, I know (sigh). The recession came at a bad time (like there's a good time!!). Was hoping to land via this route.

Anywho, I'll keep trying.
