Hello Everyone,
Here's my story:
I'm British and have recently separated from my German girlfriend. We have a 1 yr old child who was born in Germany and we both have parental rights. For the last 2 yrs i have been living between Germany and UK because of work. We both realise that the best thing is for our child to live with the mother. But i obviously want to be part of my childs life and this will involve me moving to Germany .
I was hoping that somebody could share any advise or contact details of any organisations that could offer help/advice.
Some notes:
My German is very basic.
I work freelance in UK.
Could i claim any financial support for the first few months while li was looking for work?
Many Thanks

I hope some of our German members may be able to help with your question. What is your line of work?

Kind regards
