Hi,

I hope you will all join me in welcoming The Bonds who have kindly offered to become moderators

They downized their house around three years ago and bought a "rabbit hutch" (their words) in UK and a duplex in Stresa on Lake Maggorie.
Maureen has just retired from the Health Service and Jim is due to retire in May. They manage to go to their place in Italy around every 6 weeks and have learnt a lot about how to get things done even if you do not speak Italian. Cool

Things that phased them such as bank accounts, telephones, internet, and rubbish tax they gradually learnt how to deal with. They even managed to get boat on the lake without breaking the rules rules. Laughing
There are still many things to tackle such as the best way to get TV, and become resident. ...but they are working on it Very Happy
