Hi All

A friend of mine who stays in the Faro has a card he carries with him that is copied from his passport. It is the main page copied from his passport with his photo on it.

Can anybody confirm and where to get one in the Gois area?

Thanks

Peter

Hi Setanta

But is that legal or if pulled up would the GNR accept it?

Wife got stopped once in the car and produced it. No problems. She has also used it as ID in the bank.

My husband has one done at Stapples, Portimao retail shopping. It was photocopied and reduced to the size of an ID card.
It has been accepted but it is guarantee.

You can go to the post office and they will do a notorised copyof your passport for about 16 euros. They will also do other documents.

All the best
