Does anyone know of somewhere in the East Algarve/Olhão area where salt for a Kinetico water softener can be obtained? It presumably doesn't have to be Kinetico salt, but would need to be the same quality. We currently have to go to Joro in Almancil to get it, but I was wondering if it was available nearer.

Hi
we just top ours up with dishwasher salt from Pingo it works just the same as long as you get the large pastels and costs about the same price if you buy it when it is on offer.

Thanks Troll. I was looking at the dishwasher salt just today thinking it looked like the same thing. 1kg for €0.50 I think.

Thanks puzzy - I think I know where you mean. I'll have a look next time I'm passing.
