Bit worried about the 2 break ins,
This time with a lot of Violence, and Sexualy assalted the 77year old lady
Seems 4 black guys are the incidents related.?

Maybe if the Police stopped sitting on roundabouts and hounding motorists, they should spend more time patrolling these out of town areas which these gangs seem to target,
Living on my own i used to feel really safe dont know any more.

Has anyone heard any more details it was in the Resident to day

One of the attacks was in between Almancil and Vale do Lobo. That is hardly a rural area. The similarities are 4 men in balaclavas. One attack had a rape and the other didn't. I would guess that they are related, but that is all it is...a guess.

If the police knocked some heads and did some footwork, it would be resolved soon enough. Remember the Romanian gang of 2006ish? Once the police got serious, the thugs were caught. But, catching drug traffickers and stealing their stash is much more profitable.

Quite right. They can do it if they set their minds to it instead of concentrating on fiscal matters.

I suggest a hanging post is set up somewhere prominent and all these animals could then be strung up publicly.

Bring back the rope!

Last night there was a special report on the Portuguese TV chanel SIC about the robberies in the Algarve, mainly around Faro, and how the foreigner residents are getting worried and are planning to set up neigbhourhood associations and even getting firearms to defend themselves.

They interviewed a few people who shared the concern and saying that if the GNR cannot get the job done, then people will have to get together and do it themselves. Well said it was too.
