When visiting Greece you will probably find it better to exchange sterling in the BANK OF GREECE (NOT the National Bank of Greece, thats a totally different bank). They take no commission and rates are extremely good, and far better than most tourist operator rates etc.
( I have no interests in the Bank of Greece)
