Interested in writing for us? As one of the web's top expat destinations publishing your work at Expat Focus is a great way of networking and increasing your followers on social media. We have a number of options available:

1. Submit an Article

We welcome the submission of articles on any topic relevant to an expat audience. Articles should not have already been published elsewhere, be at least 500 words long and accompanied by a photo at least 200 pixels wide.

The content of the article should be informative or entertaining but not promotional (i.e. it should not advertise a particular product, service, website etc.) However, you may include promotional information, including a link, in the author information section at the end of the article.

Articles accepted for publication will be included in our expat articles section and may be included in the monthly newsletter (for guaranteed inclusion in the newsletter see the columnists section below).

Please email your article to carole@expatfocus.com (remembering to attach a photo if possible) and we'll review it as quickly as possible.

2. Become a Columnist

In addition to publishing articles as described above, Expat Focus also works with regular columnists who submit an article for publication each month.

Columnists represent some of the very best expat writers and bloggers on the web and we promote their articles strongly, not only by giving them greater prominence on the site but also via social media (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.) and by guaranteeing inclusion in the monthly newsletter, sent to over 30,000 subscribers.

3. Develop a Country or City Guide

Expat Focus publishes a wide range of country and city guides aimed at helping those considering a move abroad.
