Out of the 500 registered Ex-Pat voters in our area only 50% voted.

How can we complain about services if we do not vote?

We sold our house in the UK to commit ourselves to the move out here and don't regret that decision.

What I would do differently is to rent before buying in Spain just to ensure that you have chose ...

Moving to Spain was the best thing we ever did BUT was full of pitfalls that were very traumatic at the time - and we had already owned property in Spain for 12 years so thought we were more savvy tha ...

It is extremely difficult to buy fireworks of any kind - even mini sparklers - in this area; purchasing ´proper´ fireworks nigh on impossible without a license.
