Camping in Croatia

Post Posted: Mon Jul 19, 2010 1:16 am

Hi folks, please forgive me I'm new to forums but I'm trying to get some advice. Myself & my friend are thinking about purchasing a small-holding/ land (depending on legalities/costs) and setting up a campsite somewhere in Croatia. I do have a property to sell but there won't be a great amount of equity but maybe enough, is there anyone out there who could give me some advice on our proposal whether it is possible and any legal pointers you can give please? We've heard good things about Croatia and it looks beautiful but aside from that I'm sick of being ripped off by our government.
Many thanks if you can help. Wink

Just completed a trip around northern and central Croatia and is lovely but there are many campsites so you would have a lot of competition.

Not sure what other countries you have considered but Bulgaria is certainly just starting to get 'camoer' tourists. I have a friend who runs a campsite there but there are only a handful I know of right across country. And most tend to be around main tourist areas.
