Vietnam holiday

Post Posted: Mon Aug 04, 2008 9:56 am

Could anyone help me with a suggestion for my parents to Vietnam?

I was recommended to visit Halong bay, Sapa, Ha Noi, Sai Gon and Hue for a famed holiday.

Others suggested to visit Cao Son, Ha Giang or Pu Luong for a real Vietnam experience.

I am considering and wondering which is good to offer my parents.

About Cao Son, Ha Giang and Pu Luong , i think that Cao Son is better because of the natural beauty and quiet. It is suitable for relax and enjoy the sight seeing. The weather is cool and fresh air , however you should advoid to go there in winter season because it will become very cold. I hope you can choose one suitable place for your parents. Smile

We recommend you to stay one night in Danang to enjoy beautiful beaches such as My Khe Beach.

Hanoi to Sapa and return

Train to Sapa departs from Hanoi Railway Station to LaoKai the Chinese border town and return. You will need the transfer services from Lao Kai to Sapa (36km).
All the best trains are night train and departs from Hanoi at 9.15 PM and arrives LaoKai at 6 AM.The night train from Lao Kai departs at 8.15PM and arrives Hanoi at 5AM.
The arrival time could be slightly changed due to the weather condition and Vietnam Railways schedules.
Belows are the rates of the bests train Hanoi - Sapa – Hanoi. The rate is quoted in USD/person bases on the sleeing berth with A/C of the shareing cabin of 4 berths.
