Rabat - Cost of Living, etc..

Post Posted: Tue Jan 31, 2006 10:23 am

Hi,

We might choose Rabat as my new city for 2 years (or more) for work and living. I already read a lot about Morocco and it sounds as a very good place to live. Only tough to find is a good example of "cost of living". We are only with 2 persons and do not spent a lot, although we like the good life (explore Morocco, restaurants, Broadband Internet, etc..).

I would very much appreciate a view of an expat about "cost of living":
* Condo rental
* Lunch (from the office)
* Groceries
* Restaurants
* Broadband Internet
* Electricity (how much needed for Airco usage, etc..)
* Heater/Gas (how much needed for heating in the winter)
* Small trips in the weekends (hotels, etc..)
* etc...

If you forget about Condo rental and Car costs, how much budget do you need to comfortable live on.

Thanks for a reply
Hans
