Hi everybody, I am Suet, about to move to Istanbul! So excited, got a job, all I need to do now is sell my house! (Strange panic striken laughter) My husband will follow me out when its sold and we will buy in Cesme, so I will be a commuting wife once a week. Been to Turkey loads during the last ten years but never istanbul before.

I am looking forward to lots of tips and advice!

Big Smile:)

Watched a tv programme on BBC today about Istanbul ... looks nice, if not a trifle busy! Its the Uncharted Territory holiday home series. It'll probably be repeated

Absolutely fabulous city, will be up there next week for a day or two,
One of the most vibrant cities in the world.
Bloody expensive place to buy a holiday home though!

I lived there for 8 years and I am sure, I haven't seen everything.

But hopefully one day soon, I will be back to Istanbul....

Yeh, they featured a couple of apartments on there which were pretty basic for £45,000 & £55,000, mind you they were pretty close to the centre
